This role leads and motivates the site hygiene team to deliver safe, compliant, and cost‑effective day‑to‑day hygiene operations while meeting food safety, legal, and budget requirements. It combines strong people leadership, performance management, and continuous improvement with responsibility for hygiene standards, scheduling, audits, contractors, and stakeholder support across the site.

Job Description

As Hygiene Night Shift Team Leader you will have responsibility for up to 10 direct reports, across Nightshift 22:00 - 06:00 Tuesday to Saturday:

  • Supervise and coordinate hygiene activities within the facility to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in hygiene practices.
  • Monitor and manage hygiene schedules to support operational efficiency.
  • Perform regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure hygiene standards align with overall operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to hygiene activities.
  • Support the implementation of new hygiene processes and technologies.

The Successful Applicant
