Job Description

The Installations Supervisor (Timber Frame) key responsibilities are:

  • Oversee day-to-day timber frame installation activities to keep work on schedule.
  • Coordinate installation teams and site activity to maintain an organised workflow.
  • Check completed installation work against agreed plans and required standards.
  • Monitor site progress and raise practical issues promptly to reduce delays.
  • Work with relevant site contacts to plan installation requirements and sequencing.
  • Promote safe working practices throughout timber frame installation activities.
  • Maintain clear records of work completed, progress and any site issues.
  • Help ensure materials and installation areas are ready for planned work.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Installations Supervisor (Timber Frame) should have:

  • Experience overseeing timber frame installation work.
  • Knowledge of site-based installation planning and sequencing.
  • Ability to check work against drawings, plans and agreed standards.
  • Experience coordinating installation teams and daily site activity.
  • Understanding of safe working practices in a construction setting.
  • Ability to identify practical site issues and support timely solutions
