Job Description

  • Oversee the finance function to ensure accurate, timely financial information is available for business decisions.
  • Provide financial direction to support the day-to-day running of the organisation.
  • Review financial performance and highlight key issues, trends and priorities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation and review of financial reports, ensuring information is clear and reliable.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activity to support effective financial planning.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to provide practical financial insight for operational decisions.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and ensure finance processes remain effective throughout the assignment.
  • Provide continuity within Accounting & Finance during the temporary Interim Finance Director assignment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Finance Director should have:

  • Strong experience leading a finance function and delivering reliable financial reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
  • The ability to review financial performance and turn findings into clear, practical insight.
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders on financial matters.
  • A sound understanding of financial controls and finance processes.
  • The ability to manage priorities effectively within a temporary assignment.
