Job Description

  • Maintain and optimise financial systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and workflows.
  • Provide technical support for financial software and resolve system-related issues.
  • Develop and deliver user training for financial systems and tools.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and data analysis for stakeholders.
  • Support system upgrades and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Monitor and enforce data integrity and security protocols.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Systems Accountant should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and financial systems management within the not-for-profit sector.
  • QBE/PQ or Qualified
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining accounting software solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of best practices in financial compliance and data security.
