Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance, addressing any variances.
  • Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Financial Controller should have:

  • Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of financial reporting standards.
  • Proven ability to manage financial operations in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confidence in implementing and maintaining financial controls.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.
