Job Description

  • Oversee the daily running of the finance function to maintain accurate and timely financial information.
  • Review financial records and reports to provide a clear view of current financial activity.
  • Manage finance processes and priorities throughout the temporary assignment.
  • Prepare financial information for internal use, helping colleagues make informed decisions.
  • Maintain organised finance records and ensure information is easy to access when needed.
  • Identify and resolve finance queries to keep day-to-day work moving smoothly.
  • Work with relevant colleagues to gather financial information and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Provide practical financial oversight that supports the organisation's ongoing work.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head Of Finance' should have:

  • Experience of overseeing a finance function and managing day-to-day financial activity.
  • Ability to review financial information and produce clear, accurate reports.
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes and record keeping.
  • Confidence in resolving finance queries and maintaining accurate information.
  • Ability to organise priorities effectively within a temporary assignment.
