Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Support budget preparation and forecasting activities for the department.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the retail sector.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Senior Management Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Extensive knowledge of management accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance within the retail industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present financial findings.
