Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsWe offer a project until December 2027Deep experience in operational claims handling processes is a mustAbout Our ClientOur client is a global underwriting leaderJob DescriptionOur client needs to develop efficient tools and processes to ensure its objective, as well as the right controls to manage their portfolio in run-off.Role Purpose:You will work closely with the Head of Claims Continental Europe and the Branch Claims Managers to implement the right processes, MI reports, SLAs, dashboards and controls needed to monitor the CE Claims portfolio, analyse its trends and anticipate needs, with a particular focus on run-off and legacy business management.You will be in charge of ensuring the claims tasks delegated to our Client's Business Centres are performed according to SLAs and data quality standards.Support CE managers and Global Vendor Management on the selection, implementation and control of TPAs and Claims delegated agreements, ensuring alignment with run-off strategies and cost optimisation objectives.Key Accountabilities:Support the Head of CE on the development of the CE Claims function, with particular attention to run-off portfolio management and optimisation.Actively contribute to the implementation of TPAs and other externalisation agreements, and support the monitoring of CE TPAs activity.Produce regular claims MI for the region, enabling the Head of CE and local Managers to monitor their portfolio, detect deviations and implement corrective actions, particularly in relation to run-off performance metrics.Support CE local Head of Claims by proposing enhancements to their processes and ensuring consistency among different local practices, particularly in the management of legacy and discontinued lines of business.Engagement in EIID committees as required.Support the management and oversight of CE Large Losses.The Successful ApplicantProfessional Experience:Bachelor's degree (preferably in Law and/or Insurance).At least 10 years of experience in Claims-related managerial roles within a global insurance organisation, ideally including exposure to run-off or legacy business environments.3-5 years of experience in TPAs onboarding and monitoring.Skills & Abilities:Deep experience in operational claims handling processes, including developing efficiencies and improving existing workflows.Strong investigative and problem resolution skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a diverse environment.Ability to develop and maintain record-keeping systems and procedures.Ability to analyse, interpret and draw inferences from research findings, and prepare reports.Knowledge of current and emerging developments and trends within area of expertise, including run-off and legacy claims management.Data collection and analysis skills.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Ability to coordinate and manage external vendor services.Proficiency in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software.Fluent level of English, both written and spoken.What's on OfferWe offer a project with immediate start through December 2027.Attractive compensation package consisting of a fixed salary + bonus.ContactJuan de Peñaranda González-LlanosQuote job refJN-042026-7000402Phone number670249075Job summaryJob functionBusiness SupportSubsectorOffice ManagerSectorInsuranceLocationInternationalContract typeInterimConsultant nameJuan de Peñaranda González-LlanosConsultant phone670249075Job referenceJN-042026-7000402
