Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsCompetitive salary of up to £100kHigh-impact leadership role, full ownership of IT strategy, security & projectsAbout Our ClientThe organisation operates in the IT Consultancy sector in High Wycombe.Job DescriptionDevelop and own the internal IT strategy and technology roadmap.Provide leadership across IT operations, infrastructure, networks, devices and business applications.Ensure systems are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned to business objectives.Lead IT security, risk management, governance and compliance initiatives.Oversee access controls, vulnerability management, data protection and incident response.Own business continuity, disaster recovery and resilience planning.Drive technology transformation, process improvement and AI adoption.Manage IT budgets, technology investments and supplier relationships.Ensure technology decisions deliver measurable business value.The Successful ApplicantA successful 'IT Director' should have:Proven experience leading or managing an internal IT function.Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, networking, infrastructure and end-user technology.Experience developing IT strategies, policies, processes and security frameworks.Strong understanding of cyber security, risk management and data protection.Experience managing technology suppliers, stakeholders and complex projects.Commercially minded with strong leadership and communication skills.Experience with Azure, identity and access management, endpoint management and device security.Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISMS or similar security and compliance frameworks.Experience developing and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans.Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM or equivalent are desirable.Experience delivering technology change, transformation, automation or AI initiatives is advantageous.What's on OfferPermanent IT Director position.Salary of £80,000 to £100,000, dependent on the level of experience.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
