Junior Accountant

A fantastic new role has opened up for a Junior Accountant in Manchester.
This role is a 6 month interim position initially, offering up to £45,000.

Job Description

Assist with preparing financial statements and reports.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Posting journals, accruals and prepayments.
Bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintaining general ledger.
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Monitor budgets and track expenses.
Provide support during internal and external audits.
Maintain financial data and ensure proper documentation.
Collaborate with the finance team on various ad-hoc projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Junior Accountant should have:

Part-qualified status in a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or be qualified by experience.
A solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Experience working with accounting software and tools similar to SAP and Oracle.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.

What's on Offer

Salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
