Job Description

  • Maintain accurate accounting records to support clear and reliable financial information.
  • Process financial transactions and ensure entries are recorded correctly and on time.
  • Reconcile relevant accounts and investigate differences to keep records up to date.
  • Prepare routine finance information for internal reporting and review.
  • Support the month-end close by completing assigned accounting tasks to agreed deadlines.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and resolve straightforward issues where needed.
  • Keep finance files and supporting documents organised for easy reference.
  • Work with colleagues across the Accounting & Finance team to maintain effective daily processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Head Office Junior Accountant' should have:

  • Experience of maintaining accurate accounting records and processing financial transactions.
  • Confidence completing account reconciliations and investigating variances.
  • Ability to prepare clear finance information for reporting purposes.
  • Understanding of month-end accounting activities and deadline-driven work.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing financial data and supporting documents.
  • Ability to organise finance records and manage routine tasks effectively.
