International Interim £30,000 - £35,000 per year View Job Description
Supporting the Merchandising Manager, you will help drive sales and stock performance through reporting, analysis and effective inventory management across our multi-channel business.Working closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations teams, you will produce regular reporting, analyse sales and stock trends, support forecasting and planning activities, and provide insights that help inform business decisions.

Job Description

  • Support the management of sales, stock and intake to achieve departmental targets.
  • Produce regular reports and KPI analysis to support merchandising, planning and trading decisions.
  • Analyse sales, stock, inventory and availability data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support forecasting and planning processes using historical performance, seasonal trends and commercial insights.
  • Monitor stock performance and inventory levels, highlighting exceptions and recommending actions where required.
  • Investigate performance variances and provide clear analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Prepare data and analysis for weekly, monthly and seasonal business reviews.
  • Maintain and validate data accuracy across reporting tools, spreadsheets and business systems.
  • Assist in developing and improving reporting processes and tools.
  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting and analytical tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.
  • Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requests as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in a merchandising, planning, reporting or analytical support role.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience working with large datasets and complex reporting.
  • Experience producing reports and presenting findings in a clear, actionable way.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
