Job Description

The In-house Lawyer will be:



  • Advising on NHS and public procurement contracts


  • Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements


  • Advising on a range of healthcare issues


  • Providing pragmatic legal advice to operational stakeholders


  • Assisting with governance, risk management and regulatory matters

The Successful Applicant

The In-house Lawyer should be:



  • A solicitor or equivalent with experience in commercial contracts (or a trainee coming to qualification)


  • Familiar with NHS and/or public procurement frameworks


  • Confident advising on tender processes and regulatory compliance


  • Commercially minded with strong stakeholder communication skills


  • Keen to build a long-term in-house career within the not-for-profit sector
