This role is based within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry in Oxford.

Job Description

  • Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues promptly.
  • Track shipments and update stakeholders on delivery statuses.
  • Analyse logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics costs.
  • Support the implementation of new logistics processes and systems as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in logistics or supply chain ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
