Job Description

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed tasks.
  • Participate in planned preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Provide support during emergency breakdowns to restore operations promptly.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ideally within the FMCG industry.
