About Our Client

We are looking for individuals that have experience within the engineering/ manufacturing/ / defence or construction industries with technical accounting backgrounds.

Job Description

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate financial forecasting.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to stakeholders.
  • Support funding applications and manage grant reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align financial planning with objectives.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and effective cash flow management for projects.
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies within project accounts.
  • Assist in financial audits related to specific projects.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain robust project accounting systems.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Accountant / Management Accountant should have:

  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management within the engineering/ manufacturing/ / defence or construction industries
  • Experience of project accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Financial modelling skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications.
