Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and month/year‑end processes.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, oversee audit preparation, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Manage stock accounting, including reconciliations, variances, accruals, and provisioning.
  • Maintain capitalised R&D and fixed asset records, including cashflow reporting for related projects.
  • Support payroll review, balance sheet reconciliations, and National Statistics submissions.
  • Assist with supplier approvals, IR35 compliance, and UK banking matters.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide financial insight, improve processes, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • a full qualification in either ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Proven experience in reporting and analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • understanding of maintaining stock assets
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
