Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to guide financial decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
  • Oversee reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations.
  • Provide support to the finance team and management on ad-hoc financial projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
  • Proven experience in management accounting or similar roles within the business services industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
