Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid financial planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on variances, providing insights to management.
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial modelling.
  • Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA) or relevant degree in Accounting & Finance.
  • Strong technical accounting skills, particularly in management accounting.
  • SAGE 200, Oracle & Microsoft Dynamics is a bonus
  • Experience within the FMCG sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders.
