Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse management accounts to support business decisions.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and reconcile financial records, identifying discrepancies and resolving them promptly.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes within the accounting and finance department.
  • Provide detailed financial reports and insights to key stakeholders in the FMCG sector.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits and liaise with auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A relevant qualification or progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Experience in management accounting within the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
