Job Description

  • Prepare and manage monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist with forecasting to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Oversee cost control processes to improve financial efficiency.
  • Support the year-end audit process by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with regulations.
  • Analyse financial performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry is advantageous but not essential.
