Job Description

  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems to meet project requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project specifications.
  • Conduct analysis and testing to validate design performance and reliability.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source appropriate materials and components.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in designs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving during the manufacturing process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Mechanical Design Engineer should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed designs and drawings.
  • Experience in designing for industrial and manufacturing applications.
  • An understanding of materials and their applications in mechanical systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design and analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
