Job Description

Office Manager responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup and ongoing management of the new London office, including workspace layout, equipment, supplies, and IT coordination.
  • Oversee the smooth running of the office, including managing supplies and facilities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for building management, suppliers, contractors and service providers.
  • Meet and greet visitors to the office.
  • Manage office budgets and ensure cost-efficiency in daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Implement and improve office policies and procedures to enhance productivity.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Office Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in an office management role, ideally within financial services.
  • Previous experience in opening a new office would be preferential.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, problem‑solve quickly, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an office setting.
