An organisation operating within the industrial manufacturing sector in the Sheffield area.

Job Description

The interim Operations Manager/Director is responsible for ensuring the optimal running of this manufacturing site. Responsibilities include:

  • Head up a team of c.60 people across manufacturing, engineering, distribution and installation
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop this team to perform to the best of their abilities
  • Help to install a new ERP system to improve business capability
  • Develop and monitor a suite of KPIs to enable business success
  • Review manufacturing procedures to drive efficiencies, costs, quality and delivery



The Successful Applicant

The successful Operations Manager/Director should have:

  • Proven experience in an Operational Leadership role within the industrial manufacturing sector.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement actionable strategies.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in managing cross-departmental workflows.
  • Availability to start a new role immediately.

What's on Offer

  • Daily rate of £300-600/day dependent on the level of experience, inside IR35..
  • Temporary contract until the end of year initially, offering flexibility and an opportunity to make a tangible impact.
