Job Description

The Part-Time Finance Manager's responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial management and reporting.
  • Prepare accurate budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Manage financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to manage financial planning and performance.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow effectively.
  • Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Part-Time Finance Manager should have:

  • A strong background in accounting or finance, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work.
