Job Description

Payroll Process Owner

  • Lead the transformation of a global payroll function, driving strategy, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring consistent, efficient, and compliant delivery across multiple regions
  • Establish governance frameworks, controls, and performance metrics to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology to align payroll with wider business objectives
  • Manage payroll vendors and technology platforms, optimising performance, scalability, and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with global and local regulations, maintaining strong risk management and audit readiness
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team, fostering capability development, accountability, and continuous learning

  • Extensive experience leading global payroll operations and large-scale transformation in complex organisations
  • Strong expertise in payroll processes, compliance, tax, and governance frameworks
  • Proven delivery of process standardisation and optimisation initiatives
  • Experience with payroll systems, HRIS, and vendor management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders
  • High integrity and experience handling sensitive, confidential information
