Job Description

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records.
  • Handle employee queries related to payroll and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the accounting and finance team to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Manage deductions, benefits, and adjustments within payroll systems.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports as required.
  • Stay updated on changes to payroll legislation and implement them as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Specialist should have:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing within a professional setting.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in working collaboratively with accounting and finance teams.

What's on Offer

  • Hourly rate of £16.00 to £18.00, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary position which requires office working 5 days a week.
