About Our Client

We're supporting a growing organisation in the professional services sector seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join a supportive, close‑knit People Advisory team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident leading high‑volume, specialist ER casework and who brings strong judgement, calm influence and commercial awareness into complex situations.
You'll be joining a genuinely down‑to‑earth, supportive team with no egos and plenty of collaboration.

Job Description

  • As an Employee Relations Advisor, you'll act as a subject‑matter specialist, leading investigations end‑to‑end and supporting managers across a range of sensitive issues including conduct, grievance, performance and capability.
  • You'll apply sound knowledge of UK employment law, ACAS guidance, and internal policy, providing pragmatic, risk‑balanced advice that supports fair and consistent outcomes.
  • You'll also contribute to the development of policies, templates and ER processes as the function continues to evolve.

The Successful Applicant

  • We're looking for a true ER specialist (not a generalist) with strong, hands‑on experience managing complex casework at pace.
  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., finance, utilities, healthcare, insurance) is particularly desirable
  • With the confidence to coach managers and guide stakeholders.
  • Policy experience is a bonus, and you'll support colleagues across the organisation.
