Job Description

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in accordance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide expert advice on medicines, minor ailments, and healthy living.
  • Deliver NHS and private pharmacy services, including vaccinations, medication reviews, and consultations.
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC regulations and pharmacy operating procedures.
  • Support and supervise pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
  • Build strong relationships with local GP practices, healthcare professionals, and patients.
  • Promote pharmacy services and support business growth initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and customer service.
  • Stay updated with new pharmaceutical developments and practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful pharmacist should have:

  • MPharm degree or equivalent.
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
