Job Description

The Pricing Analytics Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to:

Pricing & Commercial Data Solutions

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that support pricing analytics, reporting, margin analysis, and commercial performance tracking.
  • Develop and maintain datasets that provide a trusted source of truth for pricing, customer, product, and transaction data.
  • Enable advanced pricing initiatives by providing high-quality data for elasticity modelling, forecasting, segmentation, and experimentation.



Data Modelling & Platform Development

  • Design and optimise data models to support pricing and commercial use cases.
  • Build scalable data products that support self-service analytics for Pricing and Commercial stakeholders.
  • Ensure data structures are performant, maintainable, and aligned with evolving requirements.



Data Quality & Governance

  • Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring, and validation processes to ensure accuracy in pricing and revenue-related data.
  • Establish clear documentation, lineage, and governance standards for critical commercial datasets.
  • Proactively identify and resolve data integrity issues that could impact business decision-making.



The Successful Applicant

The successful Pricing Analytics Engineer will be able to demonstrate:

  • Advanced SQL skills with exposure to building production-grade data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of working with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar technologies.
  • Implementing automated testing, monitoring, and CI/CD for data products.
  • Experience working with large-scale transactional, customer, or commercial datasets.



Desirable Experience

  • Previously supported pricing, revenue, finance, e-commerce, subscription, or commercial analytics functions.
  • Knowledge of pricing optimisation, elasticity modelling, forecasting, experimentation, or customer segmentation use cases.
  • Experience building datasets that support machine learning models and advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing.
