Job Description

The Private Client Solicitor will be:

  • Advising high-net-worth individuals, families and trustees on estate and succession planning matters.
  • Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other private client documentation.
  • Managing the administration of estates and complex trust structures.
  • Working closely with specialists across property, family, business and tax disciplines to deliver integrated client advice.
  • Building trusted long-term relationships with clients while providing commercially focused and empathetic guidance.



The Successful Applicant

The Private Client Solicitor should be:

  • A solicitor or equivalent with 2+ years' PQE in private client, tax or succession planning matters.
  • Experienced in advising on trusts, estates, succession and wealth preservation issues.
  • STEP qualified, working towards STEP qualification, or willing to undertake funded STEP studies.
  • Technically strong with excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage a varied caseload with appropriate supervision.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary professional services environment.
