An established food manufacturing business focused on producing high-quality products for multiple sales channels, including retail, wholesale, franchise, and foodservice customers. Job Description

· Lead the Manufacturing Division and develop a high-performing team.

· Manage production planning, capacity and operational performance.

· Drive product development, innovation and recipe standardisation.

· Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergens, labelling and regulatory requirements.

· Prepare the business for EHO, customer and BRCGS audits.

· Manage suppliers, inventory and production planning.

· Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Warehouse and Logistics to deliver excellent customer service.

· Drive cost reduction, labour productivity and waste improvement.

· Develop KPIs, budgets and management reporting.

· Promote Health & Safety and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Manager should have:

  • Proven expertise in product management within manufacturing within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of production processes and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
