Job Description

  • Plan and schedule production activities to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
  • Communicate with various departments to align production schedules and resolve potential conflicts.
  • Track production progress and adjust schedules as needed to optimise efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate records related to production planning and performance.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards throughout the scheduling process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Production Scheduler should have:

  • Experience in production scheduling or planning within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools or software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
