My client is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the installation of new machinery and support CAPEX projects within a busy manufacturing environment. This role also involves tooling design and continuous improvement for press brake machines.
  • The salary for this role is £45k - £50k.
  • This is a days-based role in Leeds.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end installation of new machinery, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Assist with CAPEX planning and execution, providing technical input and progress updates.
  • Design and improve tooling for press brake machines to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during all project activities.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate:

  • Experienced Project Engineer with a background in manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Confident in managing machinery installations and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of press brake tooling design and improvement techniques.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
