Job Description

Reporting into senior Knowledge & Innovation leadership, you will help develop and deliver the real estate group's knowledge and innovation strategy, with a focus on innovation, legal technology and knowledge products.Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading innovation projects within the real estate practice.
  • Driving adoption and optimisation of legal technology and AI tools.
  • Acting as product owner for key knowledge and legal technology platforms.
  • Developing knowledge products and client-facing solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve legal service delivery through people, process and technology.
  • Monitoring utilisation and ROI of knowledge resources and technology investments.
  • Supporting a strong knowledge-sharing culture across the practice.
  • Collaborating with business development teams to develop and promote new client offerings.
  • Representing the firm externally and keeping abreast of market developments.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with significant real estate/property experience, typically 8+ PQE.
  • Strong background in transactional real estate work, with wider awareness of planning and property disputes.
  • Experience of knowledge management, legal operations, innovation or legal technology initiatives.
  • Commercially minded with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Enthusiastic about legal technology, AI and process improvement.
  • Comfortable leading change and influencing senior lawyers.
  • Experience using legal research and know-how platforms such as Practical Law and Lexis.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills



Location: Birmingham, Bristol or Leeds (hybrid working).
