Job Description

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements with internal records.
  • Assist in preparing payment runs and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update purchase ledger records.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding payment queries.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Support month-end closing activities as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and financial compliance standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or similar accounting role.
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and financial procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
