Real Estate is a key value driver at Group level and encompasses strategic leasing & occupier strategy across hundreds of locations, freehold asset management and occupational liability reductions.Job DescriptionSupport the development and implementation of leasing strategies across a portfolio of retail assets, working closely with the Group Property Director and Real Estate team.Analyse portfolio performance, lease events and occupational costs to identify risks, reduce liabilities and spot valuable opportunities.Monitor key metrics including rent roll, lease expiries, break options, vacancy rates and over-rented properties.Identify opportunities to enhance freehold value and reduce leasehold liabilities through lease restructuring, renewals, surrenders and managed exits.Support and, where appropriate, lead lease negotiations including renewals, rent reviews, re-gears, surrenders and new lettings.Manage external agents and professional advisers and collaborate with operational teams.Produce portfolio reporting, dashboards and strategic recommendations.Maintain accurate property and lease records and support acquisition due diligence.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Portfolio Associate should have/be:2-5 years experience within commercial property, corporate real estate transactions / occupier side / Tenant Rep / Asset ManagementUnderstanding of commercial leasing, L&T and wider lease events.Strong analytical and financial skills.Advanced Excel and reporting skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Experience managing external consultants or agents.Current or prior exposure working on large commercial occupier portfolio's on active transactions / portfolio rationalisation and leasing (retail occupier work is desirable but not essential)Highly organised with strong attention to detail.Ideally MRICS / CAIA / IMC qualified or equivalent.Prior / current experience with restructuring or insolvency-related property matters desirable but not essential.What's on OfferCompetitive salary + bonus + benefitsGreat, fast-paced company culture, learning from seasoned PE / client-side professionals.ContactBen HodgsonQuote job refJN-092026-7106539Phone number+44 207 269 2406Job summaryJob functionPropertySubsectorProperty & Asset ManagementSectorPropertyWhereLondonContract typePermanentConsultant nameBen HodgsonConsultant phone+44 207 269 2406Job referenceJN-092026-7106539
