This is an opportunity for an experienced Real Estate lawyer or Practice Development Lawyer to join a market-leading team, leading on legal know-how, training, precedents, legal updates and strategic knowledge management initiatives. Working closely with senior stakeholders and fee earners, you'll play a key role in supporting technical excellence, innovation and best practice across the Real Estate function.

Job Description

  • Respond to technical legal queries from fee earners.
  • Monitor legal developments and conduct legal research.
  • Produce client briefings, thought leadership and legal updates.
  • Design and deliver training programmes for both internal and external audiences.
  • Draft, update and automate precedents and template documents.
  • Create and maintain practice guidance and know-how materials.
  • Manage relationships with third-party knowledge suppliers.
  • Identify and help mitigate legal and operational risk issues.
  • Support innovation and legal technology projects.
  • Work closely with lawyers across the practice to understand market developments and evolving client expectations.

The Successful Applicant



You will be an England & Wales qualified Real Estate lawyer or an experienced Practice Development Lawyer with a strong track record of creating, developing and maintaining legal know-how resources. You will also demonstrate:

  • Deep knowledge of the UK Real Estate market.
  • Strong drafting and precedent management experience.
  • A clear understanding of the practical impact of legal developments.
  • Up-to-date technical and sector knowledge.
  • Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
