London Temporary £400 - £450 per day View Job Description
As a Residential Surveyor in the public sector, you'll focus on our residential caseload - including statutory valuation work (Right to Buy; Lease Extension; etc). The role is varied and includes valuation, negotiation, resident contact, reporting and support to and from stakeholders across residential work streams.
  • New Interim Residential Surveyor role.
  • Immediate start role, with Hybrid working with a London Local Authority.

Job Description

Within this Residential Surveyor role you will:

  • Conduct property surveys to assess condition, value, and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on survey findings.
  • Advise stakeholders on property standards and necessary improvements.
  • Ensure all inspections meet public sector regulations and guidelines.
  • Manage records and documentation related to property assessments.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address property-related issues.
  • Provide expert advice on property maintenance and refurbishment projects.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met during property inspections.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Residential Surveyor should have:

  • A recognised qualification in surveying or a related field. MRICS / registered Valuer.
  • Be Local or willing to travel to the London Borough to oversee site visits and team meetings when needed.
  • Experience in property inspections and preparing detailed reports.
  • Knowledge of public sector property regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
