Job Description

  • Maintain the sales ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Process customer invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and provide support for audits as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding account queries.
  • Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks.
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to increasing operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sales Ledger Assistant should have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role, ideally within the retail industry.
