Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence and scheduling appointments.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain organised filing systems, both physical and electronic, for easy access and retrieval.
  • Coordinate meetings, including booking rooms, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, redirecting them as appropriate or providing assistance where possible.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
  • Ensure office supplies are well-stocked and reorder items as needed.
  • Support colleagues with ad-hoc tasks to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Secretary should have:

  • Previous experience in a secretarial or administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage varied responsibilities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative.
