Job Description

  • Reviewing statutory accounts produced by junior team members.
  • Identifying and addressing discrepancies or inconsistencies in financial records.
  • Providing feedback and guidance to junior team members.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to streamline accounting processes.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory changes.
  • Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensuring timely completion of all account reviews and related tasks.
  • Supporting the accounting team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting, such as ACCA or ACA.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in reviewing financial accounts within the professional services sector.
