Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsThis is for a business within the net zero energy spaceThis opportunity offers a chance to lead and build the commercial finance teamAbout Our ClientThis organisation operates within the net zero energy space and is based in East London.Job DescriptionOwn and deliver the annual budget, periodic reforecasting, and longer-term planning processes.Produce clear and reliable monthly performance reporting, including variance analysis, KPIreporting, and commentary on financial and operational drivers.Support board, lender, investor, and senior management reporting through high-quality analysis and concise financial narrative.Work closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to challenge assumptions, improve forecast quality, and provide practical financial support to decision-making.Lead working capital analysis, including insight on cash, receivables, payables, and operational drivers of cash conversion.Support EBITDA and CFADS covenant reporting and related forward-looking analysis.Prepare and review business cases, investment appraisals, and post-investment tracking.Maintain and improve Financial Planning & Analysis reporting packs, planning models, and analytical tools.Ownership of concession-related planning dataContribute directly to the development of practical, credible management information rather than acting only as a reviewer of team output.Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and analysis processes, including better use of systems, data, and automation where appropriate.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Finance Business Partner should have:A strong background in accounting or finance, with a ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualificationExperience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.Experience with financial modellingExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.The ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear insights.A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Knowledge of the energy or infrastructure sector is preferred.What's on OfferSalary ranging from £75,000 to £88,000, dependent on the level of experience.Performance-based bonus.Hybrid working model for added flexibility.Comprehensive pension scheme.If you're interested in this role, apply now.People are at the heart of Michael Page.
