Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to join a growing commercial finance team within a dynamic and expanding organisation.

This is a high-profile role supporting a key business division and working closely with senior stakeholders to translate financial performance into meaningful commercial insight. You will help shape business decisions, challenge thinking, and provide the financial leadership needed to drive continued growth.

As the business continues to expand both domestically and internationally, this newly created position offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys operating at the heart of the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with senior leadership teams to provide financial insight and strategic support.
  • Lead financial discussions and performance reviews with stakeholders across the business.
  • Translate financial data into clear, compelling narratives that support decision-making.
  • Challenge assumptions and influence commercial decisions through robust analysis.
  • Work closely with FP&A and operational finance teams to deliver meaningful business recommendations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve performance, profitability and operational efficiency.



The Successful Applicant

For this Senior Finance Business Partner role based near Abingdon, we're interested in speaking with qualified finance professionals who combine strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.



  • You'll ideally have:
    • Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
    • Proven Finance Business Partnering experience, or a strong practice background with significant client-facing and advisory exposure.
    • The confidence to engage, challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial acumen and natural curiosity about how businesses operate.
    • Excellent analytical and Excel skills.
    • The ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and engaging manner.
    • A proactive, high-performing approach with the confidence to work independently.
