Job Description

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage and mentor the accounting and finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business-wide decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management and ensure effective financial controls.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial strategies.
  • Work closely with external auditors during audits and manage any financial reviews.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • Experience working within Financial Services is essential.
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proven experience in a similar finance management role within the business services industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
