Job Description

  • Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to optimise financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process and systems improvements to enhance efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Financial Controller should have:

  • A strong background in accounting and finance.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
