Job Description

The role of Senior Legal Counsel will have the following responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the business on Brand, Marketing and Advertising related issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Lead on dispute resolution and litigation cases where necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide legal input on strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on legal developments within the FMCG industry and advise on potential impacts.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:

  • A qualified solicitor status with a strong background in commercial law.
  • Proven experience in the consumer sector would be highly beneficial
  • Expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
  • Knowledge of Brand, Marketing and Advertising law would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and make sound legal decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
