Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement partnership strategies that align with organisational growth objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new partnership opportunities across higher education, corporate, public sector, and international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Lead partnership negotiations and support the execution of contractual agreements.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing partners, ensuring strong engagement and performance outcomes.
  • Monitor partnership performance against agreed KPIs and growth targets.
  • Produce business cases, market analysis, and partnership proposals to support strategic decision making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including recruitment, marketing, academic, and operational functions to ensure successful partnership delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, networking forums, and partner meetings.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership regarding partnership activity, risks, opportunities, and market developments.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance partnership effectiveness and stakeholder experience.

The Successful Applicant

Person Specification:

  • Significant experience in partnership development, business development, account management, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience working within higher education, education services, international education, or a related sector.
  • Demonstrable track record of securing and growing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and performance data.
