Job Description

  • Setting and adjusting injection moulding machines and tooling.
  • Changing moulds and carrying out machine/tooling set-ups.
  • Setting process parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed and cycle times.
  • Starting up machines and making adjustments to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Troubleshooting issues such as defects, machine faults and production problems.
  • Carrying out quality checks and ensuring products meet specifications.
  • Working to production targets, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
  • Supporting operators and handing over any issues to the next shift.

The Successful Applicant

  • .Professional qualification in injection moulding and Automated systems
  • Good understanding of general manufacturing practices and procedures
  • Wide range of technical knowledge on operation of injection moulding machines in manufacturing environment
  • Good organisational skills and able to work to deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages
  • A confident communicator
  • Understanding of health and safety processes and safe methods of working.
  • Displays safe and considerate working practices.
  • Experience in plastic injection moulding.
