Job Description

As Site Leader, you will have full P&L and operational responsibility for the site, driving performance across safety, quality, service, cost, and people. Operating in a high-volume, high-change environment, you will set clear direction, build capability within the leadership team, and embed a culture of operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Full ownership of site performance across H&S, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a multi-disciplinary senior leadership team
  • Setting and executing a clear CI roadmap aligned to site and group strategy
  • Driving manufacturing efficiency, waste reduction, and margin improvement
  • Ensuring robust governance, compliance, and food safety standards
  • Acting as a key stakeholder with group leadership and external partners



The Successful Applicant

We are specifically seeking candidates who come from a FMCG manufacturing background and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

You will be:

  • An experienced Site Leader / General Manager / Factory Manager within FMCG manufacturing
  • Used to leading large, unionised or non-unionised workforces
  • Commercially astute, with strong operational and financial understanding
  • Decisive, visible, and confident in setting direction and holding teams accountable
  • Highly credible on Continuous Improvement, with hands-on experience of Lean, CI, or Operational Excellence frameworks
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the energy and pace to match a demanding production environment
  • Based in the North West
